Compomotive Wheel Spinner - Doesn't fit?
2 Attachment(s)
I've got a set of Compomotive HB pindrives. The chamfer of the spinner just barely engages with the chamfer of the wheel (see attachments). This doesn't seem correct. I would have thought that the face of each chamfer should be in full contact with each other just like a lug nut engages with a wheel. You can see the score mark on the spinner where it contacts the wheel. The wheel picture isn't very good, but you may be able to see that the spinner is sticking out quite a bit. Its as thought the spinner is too big.
Is this normal? |
Compomotives
Full contact would be better, but they work as they are. you coud take wheel and "knock-on" to a machine shop and have one or both fly cut for a match. Remember to ALWAYS use ANTI-SEIZE in internal threads of knockon, threads of axle and on hub and pins as well. Nice looking chrome wheels by the way.
