"cobra" valve covers for chevy 350
Does anyone make "Cobra" dress up kits or valve covers for a 350 Chevy? I am thinking about building a cobray kit and would like to dress up the 350 chevy in my cobra replica. Thanks

There is a company that makes adapters to mount 427 Ford valve covers on a 289/302/351 Windsor head. THAT myght be your best bet, finding a company to make the adapters.

Any luck finding "Cobra" valve covers and a Cobra oval air filter for the Chevy 350 engine, yet?

PM me if you need additional info. |
I had aluminum covers custom engraved with "Powered by Ford NOT" for my old rat motored car. It was amazing how many people didn't see the "NOT" and couldn't figure out why the distributor was at the back of the engine. Think I found the company just by doing a search for "custom valve covers" or some such thing.

Why not change it to classic looking valve covers?

You could do like this guy did, and just never open the hood.

Chevy in a Ford

I believe that in 2013 all the Trans Am series cars had LS1 engines in them, now with a Fan base and sponsorship they are running engines to match the body style.
We mocked up this Trans Am Mustang body on my latest track racer Saturday. The car will weigh 2200 pounds, rack and pinion steering, cup car chassis (for safety), quick change rear end, G-Force cluthless transmission and dare I say it: A 383 500 H.P. Chevy engine. I had the motor as a spare for my Dragster and decided to use it to keep the cost down. Attachment 27598 |

I originally bought the adaptors and valve covers in 1986 from Butler Racing. I used them on my car for about 2000 miles. I'd be happy to send you photos of the components showing the condition and I'll sell them if you are interested. Arthur It looks like the link I posted above may not have worked, so I have posted another link below to my Cobra build album on Facebook, I hope this one works. Scroll through the photos and you'll be able to see the engine bay with the Ford valve covers on the 350 SBC. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=0d9c5c8c6d |
