Does anyone know the history of this Cobra
Does anyone know the history of this Cobra?
I'm new here, I just sold my 02 ACR Viper and thinking of getting a Cobra, is it not smart to get a old replica? "90" Thanks... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...137152050&rd=1 |
This is not a high dollar replica, and at nearly 20 years old and with an automatic transmission caution would be advised... check it out thoroughly, note the Mustang II front end, the lack of IRS, drum brakes in the rear, panel fitment etc. The company is now known as West Coast Inc @ http://www.cobrakit.com/index.htm you can review further their history and build data. Remember this is an extended wheelbase car (96 inches) not the standard 90 inches, do plenty of research while you are looking :) :) JMHO, your mileage may vary

ACR Cobra:
You can buy a new (modern) Cobra replica for not much more than the ebay car. Given this car's age and miles I'd pass. |
From the eBay owner information and photos I would probaly give this miss also.
I'm not keen on the long wheel base - unless you are 6'4" plus. The interior seats and the wheels are also something that I'm not keen on. Check out the For sale section of the forum here also. |
