Shelby, SPF, turnkeys rollers in unmarked storefront in Batavia NY
Took a little trip today and driving down Main St (Rt. 5) in the small town of Batavia NY (which for those outside the area is about halfway between Rochester and Buffalo) I saw a couple of cars inside an old department store window. Turned out to be 5 brand new turnkey minus rollers. One is a Shelby CSX 4000 and the other a SPF Mark III. Paint seemed excellent on both. The others may have had motors in them; I couldn't see up close what they were.
Anybody know the story behind this place? No contact info whatsoever that I could see, just one large Shelby sales poster and the same for SPF on the store windows. |
The place in Batavia has been in business for about (1) year. They are selling CSX's, Superformances, GT-40's & Daytona Coupes. They are selling rollers only. There is an independent installer on Long Island that has been installing engines, transmissions, superchargers, injection systems and doing all sorts of modifications on these vehicles and also on ERA's, Classic's, Uniques, Aurora's, FFR's, GT-40's, Daytona Coupes and the list goes on. He builds each car as though it is his own and his shop is meticulous. He is a Master Mechanic with over 30 years experience working on Ford Vehicles.
