Double Pass Radiator

I'm thinking of using a double-pass radiator to replace my old copper downflow.

What I like about it is that it puts input and output on the right which works great for the Ford small block. Simpler lower hose routing.

Is there any reason to use or not use a double pass radiator? Any experience out there?

I've seen photo's of a couple cars using similar radiators, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'm using a double pass on mine and it works great. The radiator shop that made it for me usually make tripple pass aluminium radiators but I wanted the inlet and outlet on the same side to make the plumbing tidier for my LS1.
