Fuel regulator location
Just got my call, BDR 559 will be ready for a Tuesday pickup.... (For some reason they changed the build sequence and my car became 559 and not 561!!??)
So, any recommendations for fuel regulator placement on the BDR. I have heard conflicting stories that it has to be on the firewall within "x" distance from the carb, to it should be mounted on the side of the engine bay... I do intend to do some "light" track day excursions so not sure if there is a tech requirement that needs to be addressed. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Mark |
What kind of regulator is it?

This set up is for the Holley one in and two out! If you mount it to the firewall, you will probably hear the vibration from it. I have mine held up by the hose's so it does get much engine vibration.

Just like scotters'... I like his set up, I didn't think of that... I have a Demon carb (1150 style) flowing 975 cfms

You do want to keep it close to the carb.
