I used solid motor and tranny mounts in my Fox bodies. They're ok... kinda rough at times. Scared the hell out of me when I lost a harmonic balancer and the whole car began shaking violently! haha

Feedback from #559 with solid mounts...
NO clutch chatter, smoother shifting than in #198 that had a street motor with stock mounts and the same clutch. No noticable difference in idle shake, idle is at 950 rpm due to cam characteristics. Smooth driving. The combination I have has by far EXCEEDED my expectations. |
