Any pics of 17" black rims with polished lip??
I am thinking of buying some 17" rims for my Superformance. Awhile back on the Speed channel, they had a special about some Superformance get together, and I saw a Cobra (blue with white or titanium stripes) in the background with 17" rims that were black in the center and polished on the lip. It looked really great, and I was wondering if anyone had this combo on their car. I prefer the deep dish look of the Vintage wheels as opposed to the look of the PSE ones, but any pics would be great. Tried to do a search, but not too much luck...

Guys, I love the look. Did all of you buy your rims like that or did anyone paint the standard rims. If you did, what was the process and what kind of paint did you use?

My wheels are modular 3-piece so the center section is powder coated before the wheel is assembled. I’m sure there is a way to paint the center on a one-piece wheel so it looks professional and is durable. I would talk to your wheel manufacturer and see what they recommend. I took the complete wheel to the powder coater and they took care of the rest. John |
