Even in Texas ... Yes

I have one in my car and it helps, although nothing really keeps you warm on a cold day (and yes it does get cold every now and then in Texas). However, I have found it very helpful on cool damp mornings to defog the windshield.

I appreciate the heater on cold mornings, but it does very little in the way of keeping just one leg and one hand warm. My wife bought me a heated vest (battery operated) and that sucker gets really warm under a jacket. Do a Google search and you will find several suppliers.

Combine it with a top and it really extends the season. Seat heaters are nice to plus they are cheap and generally easy to install.

You must be good with upholstery! %/

I decided to go with the heated vest because it was a lot cheaper than heated seats, didn't have to run wires here and there, and putting it on/taking it off is about as easy as changing a, well ughhhh, vest. :3DSMILE:

I have been know to drive in the cold in my wetsuit simply because I did not want to put the top on:LOL: R&R upholstery is not difficult with a the right tools and a little practice. Of course, you can always take the seats to a trim shop.
