Yep, I make the LeMans and DragonSnake tops, I'll try and post a link.

The companies that ultimately succeed are the ones that continue to reinvent themselves. Kudos to FFR for continuing to perform R&D and offer significantly new(er) products.

A big problem many of us face is getting 'parts' that fit our made by different manufacturers replicas. Like a windshield or hard top may or may not fit all the various brands. Parts that fit an FFR often don't fit an ERA, etc. etc.

Perhaps this new body from FFR will bring more of those parts more into the main stream of things, perhaps not...

Mr. Bruce, what makes WILL your hardtops fit? I understand those models with a little longer or wider body than 'standard' would require specific pieces. BDR, Classic Roadster, Excalibur, West Coast and other non standard wheel base type of builds.

...feels wierd linking BDR to the others, but if the shoe fits, or doesn't, as the case may be. :D

Guys, thanks much for the nice compliments. In retrospect it was a bit arrogant for me to post pics of my own car but I thought the comments by that fellow were way too dismissive regarding a product I know to be outstanding. It's nice to see a bunch of cars guys agree that this sort of development is good for all of us.

Several have asked about the wheels. They are Complete Custom Wheel "Street Classic" wheels... www.ccwheel.com ... 17x9 and 17x10.5. I have the pin drive offset suspension front and rear. Tires are 275/40 Nitto RII and 315/35 Nitto R. The "street" means that they are assembled with ARP hardware. They make GREAT wheels and I highly recommend them. I don't recall the exact BS of the wheels but if someone needs them I'll pull them and measure. John Purner is the guy you want to speak to at Complete Custom Wheel.

Thanks.

I don't care much for many of the typical after market wheels you might see on a replica, some are OK. I do like the 'old school' American Mag type wheels, for instance. But I gotta say, those "Street Classics" look great!

As we get older our butts do tend to sage. This could be a step in right direction. I wish them the best. BillE

Your car looks great, and I'm glad you posted pictures of it. Be proud of what you have done.

As long as we are all talking FFR, I have a question. Is it true that FFR bought Contemporary Classics? I have heard this from several sources and just wondered if it was true/

They did not buy the company, which ceased doing business.

More than a few years ago, they did buy various molds and jigs that were left, including their 427 body mold...but decided not to do anything with those materials.

I met one of the FFR engineers at Mid-Ohio a couple weeks ago and was very impressed with the FFR Challenge car he was campaigning (and he was a really nice guy too). The workmanship was very good for what may be considered one of their "cheaper" cars. Like some of you guys, I am looking forward to see what FFR comes up with in their new program.
