Superformance with 500hp 5.4L SVT engine?

I am looking at buying a Superformance and was wondering if the new 5.4L SVT motor will fit. I am told that they have put the 4.6 in but I dont know what the size difference is. Any and all help would be appreciated!

I would be very surprised if it would fit. The is much 5.4 larger than the 4.6 in width.

If you are talking about the GT500 engine, it would be a VERY involved fit. Aside from the fact that it's physically wider and taller than the 4.6, you've also got a blower on top to add height, plus you have all the extra space needed for the blower drive system, and the very intricate coolant hose system.

It would be cool as hell though :D .

My motto... with enough time and MONEY, anything is possible! haha

I wonder if the Olthoff boys have looked at this...

Just throw in an '03/04 Cobra motor. Trust me... it will be JUST as good. I have both a SuperFormance car and an SPF car. I think a Terminator motor, and it's 6 speed trans, in an SPF car would be amazing.

Here is one Sergio did in a FF5 car...

Someone already did this. They had pictures posted here too.

I believe you will have a hard time with the engine management on the new Fords... I have to agree with the others, use the 03/04 Cobra motor..

It should fit I'm putting a mach1 4.6 in a hurricane from the posts on ffr 's 4.6 site the new gt 500 motor is exactlly the same size as the 03 4.6 SC
The reason the 5.4 motors will not fit is because of the timing cover and acc. placement on it but ford modified all that for the new gt 500 still 13k is alot of dough for that engine plus you need the harness and computer

I can assure you the GT500 motor is far from the same size as the Terminator's 4.6.

I just saw a Roush booth where they had a new mod motor on display. I beleive it was 5.2 stroker, but not positive on displacement. The tag said 500hp/400tq normally aspirated. Just another way you could go......although personally the terminator motor is pretty darn compelling.
