The Superformance offers them as standard equipment. Check one out. If you buy another make that does not have them, it should not be that difficult to add.

Simple to add to ANY of them, and run ducting from the front intakes into the vents, and with a little creativity, you can add fans as well!

ERA has them
rspears9 ERA has them as part of the basic package. If you want more air, just add 3" or 4" bildge fans for added air. The boating market sells them. If you find a dirt track catalog they sell air inlet kits that you could use to suck air from the radiator opening in front of the car. If you go with fans, add a relay to the system. Rick Lake

Check out http://home.mindspring.com/~egroce/ (Cobra Earl's) fresh air vent kits. Two fans, duct, wiring, switches, etc. everything you need to install fresh air vent for driver & passenger. $180. You can probably source all the parts yourself for a little less, but his kit comes complete.

Rick, take a look at ERA's 289FIA Options page. It lists "Blowers to augment flow in our standard footbox air - Ask for price." I'm curious if anyone has tried these? Surely they would fit the 427 as well (even though it is not listed on the 427 Options page). I might try sticking one in on the driver's side before next Summer if there is some positive feedback from an ERA owner. Here's a pic of what it looks like on the ERA website.

Nice setup Pat
patrickt Pat I didn't see that setup. But some of the guys who are racing there cars are using these 4" bildge fans that are water proof under the hoods of there cars to help remove the engine heat. They are mounted in front of the side louvers and push the heat out of the engine bay area. A couple of guys are using the same fans for the foot wells. I have my well done in heat blanket (Dynamat) and only race the car for 20 minute cycles. I am going with the front air ducts to the front brakes and using a single inlet from the radiator opening for my foot box. You can get these fans for $20.00.You will need to buy a switch, relay, fuse and hose clamps. These fans (4") move 280cfm. They mount right on the foot box tops or the heat shields above your headers. Price is about $80.00 total and 1 hour work. Add two drinks and 15 minute break. ;)  Yea I stayed at a Holiday Inn last year.:MECOOL: Rick Lake
