My engine builder reccomended Valvoline "Racing Oil". I checked the contents and it has the ZDDP additive. Must be the racing variety. I made the mistake of just buying Valvoline then read a thred on oil and realixed I had the wrong stuff.

I use it based on Comp Cams study last year, and instantly noticed a different tone and less clatter from the flat-tappet solid lifter valvetrain as compared to others; including the regular Valvoline or GTX performance oils. It's readily available at most auto parts stores around here too.

This is the route I am doing.
Read a research table and the ZDDP level is still high.
