Received info from manufact
i asked several for info on there kits,i asked ffr last, and i got there packet first,i really like the ffr but the sheet panels that you have to rivet, thats a dislike, street beast sent one too, there kit is 16,800.but you have to buy alot extra to get it like the kit of hurricane, but i havent received ther packet yet.i had a concern of the floor pans, but which ever kit i decide you can always weld panel.just wondering too,i read about different engines will give you better weight ratio, some i heard said big blocks is this true,or would a 5.0 be just fine, this is excites me as we talk,i love watching the video that ffr sent me too.

Buy a Backdraft, save money and time and get a complete car that will cost you less in the long run.

Now listen to me VERY CAREFULLY....
Take the Street Beasts info and THROW IT AWAY! Do it Now! Roscoe |
I've been hearing that BULL about a big block being to heavy in the front for years. Not so! It's all about how the car is setup. My ERA has never 'pushed' it's way into or out of a corner, period. My SMALL BLOCK Excalibur WOULD do that from time to time.
Follow Roscoes advice, do it now... :D |

rspears, from what I've seen, there are lovers of the aluminum FFR setups and there are haters. Everyone is different. the FFR is harder to seal up because of it. Did you check out SV and HM websites? They both are similar in construction. Both have open bottom frames just like all the other kits out there, and they both have steel foot boxes. Browse through the SV gallery http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...ery.php?cat=13 And have a look at this build journal for a hurricane. Very good work! http://www.cassidypics.com/cobra/ |

I would do as Roscoe said as well.....hopefully you have already. If any of Street Beasts company reps wants to contact me...I'll say the same thing I did at the Trade Shows...although I might not be as polite. |
