Which is better for a snake?

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong forum
What do you fellars think?

I want to have a smaller capacity engine (2.0L is what i want) in my cobra for various reasons but i want it to be a V8 so apparently im tied down to two choices:

Cyclone Y40R 2.0 litre V8
http://www.cyclonepowerltd.co.uk/products.htm

or the

RST V8 2.0L
http://www.mountuneonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=157

the rst sems to make more HP that the cyclone but thats all i can see so far.
What are your thoughts on this issue?
Also if anyone knows of any other manufacturers that do 2.0L V8's id appreciate the info.

Also, any ideas on what the fuel consumption would be with either of these engines?

Thanks a lot guys

Hmm, interesting. A 10 to 12 thousand RPM engine I think would be very "doggy", to the point to where it would be a real drag to drive on the street. All your HP would probably be at the top of the RPM range. Those engines are for wide open racing. I also think they wouldn't be very dependable either. But cool engines though, and very expensive.

Others to consider although the first two might be a little bit to big:

Honestly, both of those engines have so little torque that you will have a he!! of a time starting out from a stop.

And you want to use this as a daily driver? You will not be pleased.

Mmm starting to sound like a F1 revving motor in a far heavier car.

Cost would also need to be considered..%/
