New Race Track in New Jersey

I am not sure if this has been discussed, but I just read on PDA school/ racing site that a new track is scheduled to open next summer (2008) in New Jersey- west of Atlantic City.
This facility will have 2 road courses, a 3/4 mile paved tri oval, 8 go kart tracks and an ATV course; PDA school dates, and a lot more. Carroll Shelby is a consultant to the facility. Its about 166 miles from Long Island.
N.J. Motor sports Park, the web site is: http://www.njmotorsportspark.com/index.html
The PDA site is: http://www.pdadrivingschool.com/index.php

Has anyone attended the HPDE driving school at Lime Rock Park in Ct. and do Cobras meet the db rating of 90? They are very emphatic about this….
“Exhaust must not exceed 90 DB (except at Pocono!)”

Also, a couple of months back I saw an interview with Dan Gurney and he said that he is opening a track in the Catskills in New York, I think near the Monticello (Horse) Race Track. Does anyone have any more info on the Gurney venture?

Looks like a good track.

Some pretty good advisors looking over plans also.

May see CS take the first lap..
