Planning trip to several Cobra dealers and Run&Gun

So, I am going to be in Paris, Texas (NE of Dallas) next week on business, and I extended the trip to go to Run and Gun. Planning on making the long drive instead of flying to visit a few manufacturers/dealers.

Here is the plan so far:

First Stop
S/C Motorsports, Mustang, OK
Shelby CSX 4000 series dealer

Second Stop
B&B Manufacturing, Granby, MO

3rd Stop
Hurricane, Lee’s Summit, MO

4th Stop
Run & Gun near St Louis, MO

Then fly home from there....

14 hours of driving, but a pretty productive Cobra research trip. Did I miss any??? I seen RU Car Crafters on the way, but they do not look to be viable any more.

Thanks,

Mark

Wish you much fun.
You may want to checkout Motoexotica in Fenton (St Louis); he may not have a cobra, but a whole lotta classics worth looking at.
Unfortunately you're going the wrong direction; I have a 55 Chevy there, thats waiting to be transferred to Houston...:)

Sounds like fun! Say Hi to Mike at hurricane from Josh in Iraq! :)

Hope to see you there. You can sit in my car and if you're tall enough, you may be able to reach the pedals.

Look for a green SPF with IL plates, a white stripe and 2 roll bars.

Thanks guys. Hope to see you there.

Lowell, I am 6'6, so I may be able to reach if I move the seat up. ;)

Tall Guy:

At 6'6" you should check out a Backdraft also. 2" longer wheel base that gives quite a bit more room in the cockpit. Look for the Backdraft crew at the Run & Gun. I believe most of the dealers will be there for the event. I plan on making the trip with the factory crew next year. Good luck in your search.

I really like the Backdraft, but I want to build the dream. Have not ruled anything out yet though. I will definitely find one to sit in at Run&Gun.

Thanks,
Mark

BDR definitely has a roomy cockpit; probably more room even than my car, but I wanted a 90" WB.

Mark,

I'm also 6'6", so you should fit just fine in my car. I can drive it longer in comfort than I can my F-250.

I'll definitely look you up Lowell. Thanks.
