Info needed on Tilton M/C

Hello All,

I would like to know if anyone ever had to rebuild a tilton M/C.

I have been dealing with a brake problem for sometime that I am not able to bleed the brake completely. I noticed that from the footbox that 2 of the 3 cylinder (clutch) were leaking fluid from the rubber boot. I have to admit I had the M/C chrome plated. After speaking to a gentlemen from flex-hone he told me that Yearone also chrome plates their M/C and reassemblies them but only after honing out the M/C after the plating process.

I would like to know if anyone has ran into this situation with their M/C.

I tried to just buy the rebuild kit from Tilton but that did not seem to work. It shortly after reassembling.

Can someone shed some light on this please ?
