The Spider & the Snake!
Let me tell you a little story about the spider & the snake:
I drove my car to work yesterday, and went for a drive at lunchtime. The NorCal guy's will know where I'm talking about. As I pulled the Cobra onto Hwy50, going East toward Lake Tahoe, at the Folsom Blvd on ramp, what do I see in my rearview mirror? A brand new, bright red Ferrari Spider, with the top down! I slow down to the posted 65mph speed limit and allow him to catch-up. There are no other cars between us or up ahead. As the Ferrari gets even with me I down shift and punch it! The blast from my 427's sidepipe was aimed right at his side door.:D I see the surprised look on his face as I quickly get to 100+! I slow down to 65 and in a minute he blows by me at 100+! He slows down and we do this back and forth about five or six times for about 4 or 5 miles past Intel and Costco and up into El Dorado Hills. That Ferrari is fast! The last time we get even we both punch it! It was almost a dead heat, but I had him by about 1 car length when I shut down at 110mph! I got off at the next exit and headed back to work. We parted company with waves & smiles! Fair warning NorCal guy's, there is a new Ferrari in town, and this guy likes to play!:D jdog P.S. I must say that the sound of that Ferrari, going past at full throttle was awesome! What a car! |
This of course is hypothetical.
Regards, Officer Hardass  Good story you did the cobra proud !! |
5th ammendment privilege!
I would like to exercise my 5th ammendment privilege!;)
jdog Maybe it happened or maybe I just imagined it! Only me and the 'looser' in the Ferrari know for sure, and I'll bet he ain't talking either! |
First off let me start by saying as others soon will, that racing on the streets is BAD. This also answers that often asked question when is too much horse power actually to much and now we know go as big as your pockets will bare.

:D Good 'story' jdog, I know the feeling!
