Camera roll bar mount
Where would I get a roll bar Video camera mount?. This is not something I will often use so price is a huge factor. Probably use it only once?. I have a great twisty, up-down back road that's beyond fun and wanted to see if I'm really having as much fun as I think I am!.
Thanks....

Try a reputable camera shop.

The one time I took a video with my car I just used zip ties to fasten the camera to the roll bar and then cut them off when I was done. It worked great.

Make sure the microphone is out of the wind. Roll bar mount is good if you have a remote microphone. If not, the wind noise will be terrible.
... and where is the road?????

Thanks guys, plenty of options, never thought of 'zips'...Ha!.
The road is a little used short cut (8 miles) between two small 'bergs' in west Georgia.
If it works well I'll post.

I'd strongly recommend redundant zip locks on the mount and the camera regardless.

I found a strip of tape over the mic helps a lot.

That's good advice. The last thing you want is your camera coming loose, bouncing off, and taking a gash out of, your trunk lid and then going through the windshield of the guy behind you. That would surely damage your camera....

Can anone recommend a good camera? I'm looking for one that might have a remote 'lipstick' second camera so I can get some shots from remote locations on the car???
Thanks!
