dynoed the car, but where is all my power going
on the engine dyno car made 660 hp and 678tq, after the 1k mile break in
had the car on chassis dyno with my spiral turbo side pipe modification. I also had the end cork cut for extra hp. The car put down 532hp and 519tq
Isn't that lot of power loss? I thought the spiral turbo side pipes were gonna free up lot of power? Should I change the pipes again?

Consider yourself lucky....most guys lose over 20% through sidepipes and drivetrain losses.
Your example is out of the ordinary and is almost hard to believe.

Those spiral inserts are real power killers. Do a search.

That's only a 5% loss, thats rediculously good. As mentioned its almost hard to beleive. Most cars are in the 10-15% range, and most Cobras are in the 15-20% range.
What brand dyno was used?

As a dyno owner and tuner, I would almost have to question your numbers, as being exceptionally too close together. Most Cobras I've dynoed that have made 650 on an engine dyno, put about 450-500 on a chassis dyno. A VERY good sidepipe setup will free up a ton of power that Cobras eat up, but you've still got parasitic drivetrain loss. That in itself should be a good 12-15% if you've got a stick with IRS.
Something doesn't seem right.

I would give up wife and kids for a 5% parasitic driveline loss!!!!!!! Wife and kids all in good shape by the way.

Guess I am stuck with the wife and kids...20% loss a bit over average but still not too bad..

Ah, that's better. That's 20% loss....which is about average I think.

Okay then, that's much better. Sounds like you are right on the mark. Nothing to worry about.

my disapointment is I spent like 1k with parts, labor, and recoating and its putting the same power as my stock spf. What are you guys running? do you have before and after dyno results?
