Tilton Master Cylinder Rebuild
 
Hello all,

I would like to know if anyone ever had to rebuild their Tilton master cylinders. In the process of my build I sent out my master cylinders to have them chrome plated. During the process they were suppose to cap off open ports so that chemicals do not get inside.

I think this might be the problem which is causing my M/C to leak at the footbox.

Last winter I was going to rebuild a friend Tilton master cylinder. If I remember correctly the rebuild kit was $54 and a new master cylinder was $110. He bought a new master cylinder.

I am choosing to rebuild mine because all 3 are leaking. Also, all 3 are chrome plated which why I would like to stay with these cylinders
