New Build - Opinions ?
Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone has input on the Cobra “427” Kit from Antique and Collectible Autos, Inc. (Buffalo, NY). I’ve been bitten many years ago and I am finally in a position to build my Cobra. I’ve stopped by their shop and spoke with Sonny, he has been doing this for a while. Anyway, I’d appreciate any input. Streetable – but want to be scared Planned Specs: Disks all the way around; Posi-9” rear Motor: 1969 429 CJ (11k miles) Planned upgrades: Intake Stroker ( ~ 514 cu in) – any favorites? Medium cam – I’d go for more overlap than lift Headers 4-barrel - any favorites ? size ? Tranny: An old Borg-Warner T-10 (will it take it?) Thanks, PJ |
Great choice
I got my chasis from them about 6 weeks ago. I reseached many companies and went with A&C.
Very happy to date. Chasis is a work of art!!!! Sonny is good but Joe is the Tech guy and you can always get him on the phone and he always has the answer. I will be getting my body in dec and their finish and gel coat colour in to body is also the beston market in my option. Good luck |
