MassFlow FI/ Weber stack 'look'?

All,

I am considering a Massflow FI for an Pond Sideoiler/Shelby head/Intake 427/482 that Keith Craft is building for a Kirkham I have ordered.
My question is this: Is it possible to install the Massflow FI and have the 'look' of the stacked pipes (kind of the weber stack or similar). Not sure if this makes sense, but I figure this is the spot to ask?

Thanks!

al

to answer your question no, the mass flo fuel inj uses a 1000cfm single 4 barrell style throttle body and uses a mass air meter like the one from a lt1 corvette that sits on top of the t body. the stack style fuel inj is speed density and does not use a mass ir meter.

I don't think anyone makes a mass flow injection that resembles Webers...yet. They are all speed density as far as I know. I do think it's a possiblity, but the sensor would need to be in the top of one of the throats, maybe all of them. I think that one would do if all the throttle blades were synched. But for max power and effeciency, I would imagine you would need one in each throttle bore.Maybe one for each bank to feed the O2 sensors on each side. I would think that a computer could be set up for either option, but haven't seen one yet. Speed density is easier for packaging and appearance.

Enclosed air box Al

Al Pace if you seal and enclose an air box to the top of the throttle body's and have a single inlet, this system might work. You could have no vacuum or air leaks at all to get the correct air flow readings. A batch FI system or sequential FI system works great without Maf sensor by use of a Map sensor or Alpha specs from the coolant sensor, TPS, and Air temp sensor, O2 sensor will keep the A/F in the specs that are installed in the soft ware.
