2007 Shelby Annual (old news?)
I just picked up a copy of the 2007 Shelby Annual 'thick' magazine. I've NEVER seen this before. Has anyone else seen it?
A really good primer for those just getting to know the Shelby brand and legacy. Sort of a readers digest of what we already know and an intro into the 2008 Shelby SuperSnake and something new to me, a Terilingua Mustang may be in the works. Oddly, all of the advertisements are from Shelby American or vendors with Shelby specific items. I didn't know Baer brakes were commissioned to print "Shelby" on some of their calipers. Kinda cool. It's a good bathroom read IMO. :D |
When you say " you just picked it up" , where? Bookstore, news stand, supermarket magazine rack, 7-11 ?

I got a copy. It was a little sickening. If you believe what you read Shelby is on par with George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. Don't get me wrong, his cars are great, I just thought it was a little much. Lots of focus on the new mustangs, not much about Cobras. Just a couple pages that focused mainly on the fact that if it's not a Shelby then it's not a Cobra.

I actually go mine at Fry's Electronics. Not sure there's one close to you. I think there's one in Los Angeles. It should be on most magazine racks since it's published by the same people who do most of the Mustang magazines out there.
