The seller of the banner thinks it's a 427, but clearly that's an FIA. I let the seller know.:3DSMILE:

Wow, I think I paid 30 or 40 bucks for mine when they were available.

Guess I should have bought a few dozen.

Roger Cormier 11-26-2007 11:02 AM

Wow, I bought mine when I saw it as an ad in a magazine back in the '80s.
I don't think I paid more than $15.

WarrenG 11-26-2007 11:51 AM

Is that even a real cobra on the banner. The last one I saw like that was a Unique FIA.

Roger Cormier 11-26-2007 11:53 AM

It is a Unique FIA

CobraDan 11-26-2007 01:19 PM

I bought mine from B F Goodrich hung it in my garage and in a year it disintegrated and I had to take it down.

Snakebit 11-26-2007 01:55 PM

The bidders have to be idiots. Like they say, there is a sucker born every minute!

cobrarkc 11-26-2007 02:58 PM

TerrysSPF 11-26-2007 08:11 PM

Brian: I'm with you; I think I paid 30 bucks for mine. -I KNEW I should have bought a few more!

I've heard a lot of people say that theirs fell apart (like Dan spoke of). Mine has been hanging on my garage wall for about 4-5 years now and still looks brand new.
Maybe it gets too hot down there in Florida, Dan!

I would never go back to live in Ohio just to keep my sign but you are right as it does get hot in my garage in the summer months, so now is when I work on my car and drive it the most.
