aluminum or stainless quick jacks - where to buy?

I'll be looking for either aluminum or stainless quick jacks - prefer stainless, will take aluminum. I've seen the hollowed out billet ones, they're not what I'm looking for. Want the original size shape and appearance, but in stainless or aluminum. Anyone know where I can get these besides Kirkham? Are the mounting holes pretty much universal in size and spacing?

Perfect - thanks!

I have them on my car and they are really nice. There are two different sizes - same bolt hole mount spacing but one is longer than the other. I went with the short ones up front and longer ones in the back. No idea whether that is "correct" but it looked "right" by my eye. Check my gallery for pics of the differences.

767, if I may ask, are the jacks from Kirkham the incorrect hollow billet types that you referred to? I'm curious since I own a Kirkham and I'm trying to learn more about them. Thank you.

No, the Kirkhams have regular solid aluminum ones, and as with almost everything Kirkham, they look great. Kirkham makes a fine car and they seem like great guys - it just seems like everything they sell is way out of my tax bracket. I didn't even ask what they wanted, I just assume now that anything they make is out of my reach. No complaint, mind you - just the way it is. Some can afford 'em, some can't. I'm in the latter group.

Thanks, Don - The body is coming off in about 2 or 3 weeks. I'm not ready yet but when I start reassembly I'll give you a call. Thank you.

767, thanks for the info. You should talk to Joe Weight at Kirkham. He/they might be able to swing you a deal. You never know until you ask them. Often times selling them is better than letting them sit in inventory, assuming they're sitting on the shelf.
