...keepin' it safe, Halon
I installed a 5lb 1301 fixed Halon system on the car today. It has 2 nozzles w/ 120 deg spray pattern on each side of the intake along with a underdash nozzle that also shoot into the driver's footwell. It's plumbed with 3000 psi stainless 4AN hose. The bottle between the seats may be a little over the top, the jury's still out on that. I've enough hose and cable to relocate it to the trunk, depending how bad you guys beat me up over it.

I preferred to mount my bottle in the trunk, but I like the way you have the system set up in the engine compartment. Do you have photos of the nozzle mount in the passenger compartment? steve |

That is a clean and nice looking installation. When I had my Cobra I didn't have enough room between the seats to put a bottle. In the Coupe I have it mounted on one of the roll bars behind the driver. Could have been a little farther back, but not a lot of options. Ron :) |
