Shortened 8.8" IRS Axles
Can anyone suggest a good place to buy shortened IRS axles for the 8,8" T-bird SC rears. I need a pair that are shortened 1" to fit in the IRS of my RUCC. Roger had said to cut and weld them, (I don't think so:eek:) Who does good custom axles for the 8.8' IRS Ford rear?

Send your axles to Dutchman Motorsports Inc. and have them shortened. They do great work and fast turnaround at a very fair price.
Check out their website. When I had mine done last year, it was $84 per pair plus $10 per cut for the retaining rings. You'll need to ship your tripods along with the axles so they can get a good fit on the new splines. Bob |
