I just ordered a new Kirkham Cobra and was wondering how to register the car in the State of Pennsylvania for emmission purposes.

Can you register the car as a 1966 Cobra or must you register it with the year of the engine or as 2008 Kirkham Cobra

If you go to the Pa DMV website, you will find the "how to" section for a specially constructed vehicle. I think you will find the information you need there.

The process changed last year. You now have to take your vehicle to an "approved" inspector.

I believe that you will not have to meet smog requirements.

And, if you still have to fill out the registration paperwork yourself be very thorough........he says remembering painfully.
