Cobra's have got to be first --- but how about the lesser mentioned 65 Comet Cyclone.
Do you guys remember Don Nicholson's red AF/X -- 65 Comet Cyclone? A "fast machine" --- Bill |

My favorites from each camp:
70 Chevelle SS 454 69 440 Roadrunner 69 Mach 1 428 CJ 67 GTO 70 Buick GS 70 Charger RS Honorable mention - '64 Sport Fury bubble top AND I do love the '64 Fairlane Thunderbolts.....hope to build a clone of one of those some day. |
Does a Cobra qualify as a Muscle car or Sports car ???
either way...most beautiful or best looking to me... 427 Cobra 70 Challenger R/T (White- Vanishing point) 69 Mach 1 (Red with shaker hood) http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...r_Dodge_21.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...um/mach_00.jpg |
427 SC Cobra ... it just has that "look" ... and of course the muscle .
63 1/2 Galaxie .... mine is Rangoon Red , black interior , 427 dual quad and 4 speed . `66 or `67 big block Fairlane ( preferably 427 ) . I`m just a little partial to Ford muscle , but appreciate all of them. |

Best of the best by far is the 427 Cobra
67 Shelby Mustang GT500 69 Camaro 65 Corvette 427 And a late models: 09 Corvette ZR-1 "Blue Devil" |

Steve
The second Boss Mustang in your post looks a little plain-Jane. Maybe you could do something to spice it up? :p:p How about a real early muscle car - a Studebaker Avanti. |
My buddies 74 Nova might not be classic muscle but running 9's and street legal. Gets it done in my book
