Fuel Pumps
I'm in the final stages of assembling my Kirkham. It has an electric fuel pump as fitted as standard by KMS, but the engine as supplied by Southern Automotive also has a mechanical fuel pump.
Am I OK connecting the outlet of the electrical pump to the inlet of the mechanical pump, or do I need to remove one of them and if so, which one? Your advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul |
What brands and what output are they? I've done this many times with the old Holley red and blue electric pumps and a cheapie mechanical pump, but with the killer pumps they make today, I'm not sure I would go that route anymore.
