Cobra profiles
Did anybody else see Jim Holdens post, a link to ERA's Cobra profiles comparo??
It is really well done.
All the cobras are about the same size, distance from camara, angle of view.
It really shows the different styles of Cobra.

That is THE reference for the different brands. It is often referred to round here. ERA's website is a super reference for alot of major and minor details.

notice the huge difference in rear wheel opening between the origional and the continuation series.
and the west coast has a saggy rear.

You have to allow for the fact that there were 3 versions of the original cars, all with different rear fenders, (Comp, wide-hip street and narrow-hip street) as well as individual variations from car to car.
ERA and Kirkham both offer wide-hip street and comp fenders. I don't know of anyone offering narrow hip fenders. It's not a surprise that Peter at ERA and the Kirkhams both own original Cobras. That's why their cars are so accurate.

As far as CCX goes I think Burtis changed the cars a bit. Some changes to asymetry and the openings. I am a fan of the Bayer CCX cars, I think they are a bit nicer. Thinner fenders almost aluminum feel etc........
