Bap Bap Bap Noise
Ever since I blew my head gasket and had it replaced, the driver's side exhaust has a funny sound it in while decelerating.
If I get over 3500 rpm, let off the gas and let the motor pull the car down slower, I get a little bap bap bap right around 3000 rpm. Only out of the driver's side, not the other side.
Anyone know what this is and is this something I should be worried about?
Thanks.

Are the primaries tight against the heads?

I haven't checked. When I got it back from the shop, 3 of the head bolts weren't torqued and I was missing 2 header bolts. Replaced those 2 bolts but didn't check the others. You think it's air seeping into the exhaust?

Yes, I'm betting on a slight leak in the exhaust.

Loose header bolt. Look for black soot around the header bolts. Could be header to side pipe connection. I've had a lot of trouble with mine. I had to make an aluminum gasket out of laminated aluminum to stop the leak.

Yep, that is classic exhaust leak noise.
