Searching for a good power buffer

Anyone familiar with Griots Garage's power buffing system? Promises to rid your paint of swirls and light polishing scratches. Claims to be fool proof with no risk of burning the paint.

It works as a system ..if, if you follow the directions. It is a slow speed orbital so paint burn is difficult, the compounds they sell are specific to the tasks.

If I remember correctly , Griot`s uses a Porter Cable orbital buffer . I got mine from a place in Miami some years ago and it appears to be the same one .... except at a much better price . I also use Griot`s compounds/polishes/wax and they work very well . FYI ... look up Adams Polishes . I recently tried their swirl remover/polish and wax on my Rangoon Red 427 Galaxie , and it really did a job !
JBo is correct on both counts ... it is very difficult to burn or harm your paint with the orbital and Griot polishes etc are a system and are top notch .

Yep, Porter Cable, the best.
