Hot Laps with Bob Bondurant

Myself and family took a trip to Arizona to visit my parents and go on a few excursions to the Glen Canyon river tour, Grand Canyon and Sedona. But being a Cobra guy the best thing I did was to ride in a Corvette with legendary Cobra team driver Bob Bondurant. My Family and I visited the Bondurant high performance driving school and was very fortunate to meet Bob. I told him I own a Superformance Cobra and was a big fan of his, and the history of the Shelby American championship years of the mid 60's. Bob is a very friendly and personable man. He took time with us and talked about his career. He was very kind to take myself, wife, and son on two hot laps in one of the schools Corvettes. Bob is 74 years old, but you wouldn't know it. He scared the !/! out of me. I didn't realize you could drive that fast and drift in the corners like he did. My wife and son also experienced it. Just want to say thanks to Bob and his staff for their kindness and an experience I'll never forget.
