Garage Sale -- Premium SBF Windsor Engine Parts
Guys, I think I have a disease...
I enjoy planning/assembling engines and once they're done and dyno'd, the thrill is basically gone for me. With that being said, I have a lot of premium engine parts left over from my latest fling...a 445ci Windsor based on a Dart block and Trickflow TW-R heads. I suppose this is my hobby and I'm gonna sell these parts and head off towards another interest. Anyway....I'll list these here before I stick them on Ebay. Keep in mind that these parts were all purchased BRAND NEW back in December and they only have one day of hard dyno pulls on them. Everything is in as new condition. 1. CSR SBF electric water pump. Red anodized, all parts and accessories are with it, along with original box. SOLD 2. New SBF aluminum timing cover with Ford Racing fuel pump block off plate and front seal. SOLD 3. Scat 6.200" SBF/SBC H-beam rods. 2.100" journal end. $250 + shipping. 4. Scat SBF 4.100" stroke forged 4340 crankshaft. Cleveland mains for use in SVO/Dart block. 28oz balance. $475 + shipping. 5. Probe SRS forged pistons with inline/twisted valve reliefs. 25cc dish. 4.155" bore. Will sell with Total Seal rings. Wrist pins included. $400 + shipping. 6. Trickflow TW-R heads. These are awesome heads...they are 59.8cc chambers. Further ported by Joe Craine in San Antonio, TX. These flow 335cfm @ .650" and 341cfm @ .700". Assembled with Ferrea valves, 2.08", 1.6", Comp Cams 939-16 springs (for hydraulic roller cam), Manley titanium valve spring retainers, Viton valve seals, Comp locks, guideplates for 3/8" pushrods, 7/16" rocker studs. These are assembled, and after a good cleaning of residual gasket material, these will be ready to bolt back on and run. I have work sheet and flow sheet from when these heads were ported. I'll take $2400 + shipping for these heads. 7. Dart 351W Sportsman block. 9.500" deck, Cleveland mains. This block was bought new from Keith Craft Racing back in November. He inspected and performed all the machine work on it. I still have the original Dart block box. It's at a 4.155" bore with plenty of meat left. Clearanced for stroker cranks (clears the 4.100" crank with miles to spare). Drilled/tapped for lifter spider. New Ford Racing cam retainer plate. Billet splayed 4-bolt main caps on middle 3 mains. Black coated (POR?) with glytol lifter galley and timing cover area. $1900 + shipping 8. Ford Racing Hydraulic Roller Lifters. $75 + shipping 9. Edelbrock Super Victor Intake. SOLD 10. QuickFuel Q-850 DP Carb. SOLD 11. Professional Products Harmonic Balancer 28oz. $50 + shipping SOLD 12. SFI 28oz flywheel with ARP bolts. $50 + shipping. SOLD 13. Jones Cams hydraulic roller camshaft. 250/250 @.050, 112/112, .620/.620. Does not need bronze/steel distributor gear. $150 + shipping. 18. Cloyes billet double roller timing chain. $50 + shipping. This has keyways for cam timing adjustments in 2° increments. SOLD 19. Mallory billet S/S distributor. This comes with the advance springs and stops to set the amount of advance. Billet aluminum body, red cap. Will work with vacuum advance (vacuum eliminator conversion plate is on it now), but is currently set to work for mechanical only. Have original box. Works with Mallory/MSD ignition boxes. This is part # 4255411. $160 + shipping SOLD I have pictures of everything. However, if you go here: http://clubcobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84365 , you'll see about everything. It looks the same now, just with residue gasket marks and a little carbon in the combustion chambers. I will combine shipping and if you feel like haggling, I'll work some on the prices. |
Everything looks like top quality. If I were in the market for an engine, I would take the whole works. Good luck with your sale.
By the way, how much power did this puppy produce on the dyno? Wayne |
interested in your water pump. where is the inlet located?
|
It made 584hp/560 lb-ft. The power was all in by 5900rpm. I didn't have to turn any revs at all to get the power out of it. It was a really mild (in terms of duration at .050" for this size engine) camshaft. I bought the Comp grind from Keith Craft to try out but have now decided against it. The Jones cam needs a lighter valvetrain than what I had to work effectively. I also have some modified hydraulic roller lifters from KC that should help out with getting the most out of the camshaft. Keith estimates 650hp with his cam and lifter setup. As good as these heads flow, there is a LOT of potential in this engine.

Vector, you can put the inlet on either side of the water pump. The pump comes with an inlet and a pipe plug. You just swap them to either side to fit your application.
