Shock absorber resources?

Hopefully, somebody can point me in the right direction. I had to make some changes to my rear suspension pieces and the shocks I had planned on using (Edelbrock Cobra shocks) won't fit on the rear now. So, I'm shopping for a shorter shock for my rear.
I'd like to buy Koni's, but I don't think I can afford the mortgage on them at the moment ;)
I think Bilstein makes a shock that would work, but I don't know who to talk to for a recommendation or lead me through the maze of information I need to know to make a semi-intelligent decision.

Anyone know who I could call, email, telegraph, etc.... to help make a decision on this issue?

Some background- CSX chassis with 8.8 Ford rear IRS. Mostly street with occasional track days. I need a coil over shock with approximately 12" mounting length- which I suppose translates to approx. 10" compressed length and 14" extended length- eye to eye.

Thanks,
Bob

Talk to Mike Naake

For what you're doing, the QA1 double adjustable is a very good comprimise.

Thanks John,
Looks like they have just what I need.
