Would it be close??
If i take my "go cart" to get the suspension aligned how far woulkd it be off with out the weight of the other parts? The owner of the shop said we could put sand bags that he had for flooding in the floorpan for ballast . Will this work ? I am trying to not have anyone but me monkeying with it after i paint it.WD

I would not recommend it, just for the reason that once you set the painted body on the chassis (plus windscreen, etc.), you may want to adjust the coil-overs to set the ride height and reduce the tire gap in the wheel wells. You also might want to consider haivng the car corner weighted at that time (if you plan to drive it like you stole it).
