Name That Part Game!

So I was cleaning up the shop while Dave and Thomas were out of town and found this interesting door stop.

MaSnaka 04-10-2008 11:00 AM

Yep...looks like a carb to me too.

Jamo 04-10-2008 11:03 AM

Is that the rear-end water splasher Steve was developing for his toilet?

Doug I 04-10-2008 11:16 AM

Downdraft Stromberg carb. Large size

Lew Ledyard 04-10-2008 11:19 AM

Lew, you win. (Not on the wheels thing, just on the name the part game)

Its a 58mm Weber. These things are gigantic. I wish I had a 48 here to compare the size.

like to have 4

elgecko 04-10-2008 12:56 PM

Looks like ......Dual exhaust muffler bearings.

RedCSX1 04-10-2008 01:12 PM

If you had two Joe then they would make cool bookends instead of a doorstop.;)

Lew Ledyard 04-10-2008 01:17 PM

58s look so cool on a BB. 48s just look too small on a BB (they look great on a SB). Of course, if you had magnesium wheels and 48s/BB combo, most people probabaly wouldn't notice that your carbs were too small.**)
