Tonneau cover

Guys,

I avoided getting a tonneau cover when I got my car because I remember the old days of torn vinyl/fabric, ripped out snaps, etc. Now I want one. Is there anything to look for with an installer? I assume a good auto upholstery shop can do the work. But is there one kind of vinyl or fabric to use, a certain brand of snaps? Any of you that have had good luck with yours, please let me know. Also, does anyone have a zipper down the middle so you can have only the driver's side open and the passenger side still covered?

The new style from Backdraft is nice. It is thick and padded. Has the zipper down the middle and is designed for your car. Comes with the hardware as well:

If you would like to avoid drilling holes and inserting fasteners. Try the snapless cover. I bought one last year and saved me a lot of headaches.

Everfex vinyl, tenex fasteners (not lift a dots which lead to torn out male pegs),zipper down middle works fine. You will have some flapping at speed with 1/2 zipped ..can leave abrasions on paint, but makes it cozy on cold days.
