Anyone own a Sagebrush Roadsters

I am interested in seeing one next to a Unique, ERA or a Kirkham.

Then how do you like it?

joey_hv 04-22-2008 07:16 AM

Still working on mine. but all I'll really have that will be Sagebrush will be the body and fiberglass parts. I am scratch building the frame and suspension pieces.
The body came off the same molds that the Hi-Techs came out of. It has a rolled dash edge which I really.

Naumoff 04-22-2008 10:14 AM

That is good to know.
Can you post some pictures in your gallery?
I am looking for a body and I might consider their frame as well.

here is a link to my build and some pictures of the body. it is a stout body.

Joey,
I have a buddy building a Shelby 4000 but he doesn't have any doors. Hoping that Tim sells doors separately, could you measure your doors at the top widest point and at the bottom of the door for length?

Thanks,
Bob

joey_hv 04-22-2008 03:52 PM

sure thing, I will post the measurements later this evening.
I know that the Sagebrush mold came off CSX3019 if I am not mistaken.

Naumoff 04-22-2008 08:02 PM

Thanks Joey. Great pictures.
I have just subscribed to your build thread.

joey_hv 04-23-2008 09:14 AM

The top of the door at its widest point measures approximately 30 & 1/8 inches
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...v/101_3349.jpg

The bottom part is difficult to measure because of the radius but I got 25 & 1/2 inches ?
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...101_3350-1.jpg

I also measured this at 25 & 3/4 inches
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...v/101_3352.jpg

and this at 8 & 1/2 inches

It would be best if I could make a paper template of the door from where the top starts to turn horizontal to the bottom edge and mail it to you. Let me know if you would like me to do that. I don't go back to work until Friday so I have time.

Three Peaks 04-23-2008 09:24 AM

That would be great. I love the way he rolled his edges on the top of the doors.

I'll PM you my info.

Bob
