They have built roughly 750+ 427 cars(since 1981) and many FIA cars (not sure exactly how many).....and they build about 5 GT40's per year. Bill (at ERA) has told me that he believes there are less than 100 GT40's built.

Their is an ERA registry (not affiliated with ERA the Company) located at: http://www.eraregistry.com/index.htm
You may wish to check it out if you're looking for an ERA owner in your area.

Bob Putnam, who goes by screen name strictlypersonl, is one of the owners. If you have a technical question about ERA cars, he is the one to go to. You can send him a PM by clicking here: http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/priv...=newpm&u=18772 Peter Portante is another one of the owners. If you are serious about buying an ERA car, he is the one to speak to. His number is 860-224-0253 (he doesn't do email). And if you're thinking about buying the company, either one of them would be a good place to start.;)

I don't mean to ambush the thread but jagxjr5012, I think I'm the original owner of your ERA #208. I sold it in 1994 to a fellow in Franklin, TN. Is it Dark Shadow Blue Metallic with a black interior, riveted hood scoop, and silver coated side exhaust?

Hey cobraviper 99
Yes that is the car !! It is my second ERA. I bought this car a little over a year ago and as you know it is 20 years old now. So I have done a bit of a mild restoration on the car (rebuilt engine, new shocks, pin drives, carpets, seat belts, recoated pipes/headers, replaced some of the chrome components..ect). Whoever you had do the paint did a great job !! I will have the finish buffed and shined after we are done putting the engine back in (this weekend)...but the finish is in great shape....not a stress crack anywhere. Anyway there is a link below where you can see some pictures of #208 and a few other cars as well.

I will keep you posted on the progress !! Thanks
Mike
