Rear fender film protection fix wanted
The paint protection film on both rear fenders is starting to lift at the top corners. Has anyone had similar issues, and how do you suggest keeping it in place with out damaging the paint and making it worse than it is?

Improper adhesion. It either needs trimming or complete replacement.

Either get it replaced or cover it with a bib. Finish Line in Las Vegas makes "bibs" to cover this area that look very good. You can see a picture on thier website under "accessories". Just give them a call. I think they only have the CSX ones currently in stock, but I was told that they are going to be doing the Superformance ones as soon as they got an actual car to do a template.

ARCHRMS, went to your photo site. If that's your black car, Its beautiful. I also have a black SPF. I originally had 3-M clear guard over the front of my rear fenders. Not happy with it. Replaced them with black 3-M rather than clear, made sure there was no wax on the area and they look fantastic and stick on great..

Archrms: I had the 3M film removed from my SPF and replaced with ArmorCoat spray on coating. I had no problems with removing it.

Yes, the Black/Silver car is mine, and thank you. Did you have any problems removing the original clear film? Where did you get the black 3-M from? |

Use a hair dryer to warm up the film as you gently pull it off.
