It is definitely different and I think your painter is right....but hey, if you are happy, that's the main thing, enjoy it...you can always repaint it if the mood strikes you....

Ditto on what JR said about the time. If your asking if the dyno tuning is worth the trouble, "hell yes". I'd bet your jetting is off as far as mine was.

Hey Brad. I had a APPT. @ KC Plano Mon. & had to cancel cause of The Oil Field!
Won my first local show & intended to make Lonestars Shingding this weekend but Jay & myself both went home early sick with summer colds ( came home to bed & thats why I am up @ 3:A.M. on the forums).
Car is doing great with only a few bugs to deal with but even after dropping jets down two numbers it still seems Fat, how many numbers did You cut back? Wendell

Wendell
I don't remember the exact number, but I know Rob pulled the carb 7 times for jets, plus made around 10 air bleed jet changes in conjunction with the fuel jets (the Divinci carb has jets in the air horn for fine tuning). The RWHP kept getting better as we move forward, but he never did get it to the optimum mixture. To be on the safe side, I had him stop while still a little rich, plus after it got over 500 at the rear wheels, I figured that was plenty for me. He said we could make more changes and gain another 25 or so, but I was happy and my eyes had quit burning from the fumes
:)
