Victor Reinz Intake Gaskets
Looked all over for Victor Reinz Nitroseal intake gaskets. NAPA could no longer get them and CarQuest was no help. Low and behold, Advance Auto Parts on line has them! My quest is over. So if your having a hard time finding Victor Reinz gaskets, give them a try.
See next post for up date. Advance Auto Parts CAN NOT GET Victor Reinz gaskets even though they list the part number on line! I was able to order a set from CarQuest but it depends on which CarQuest you call and hope the sales person isn't a total idiot. |
Update on Victor Reinz and Advance Auto Parts
Update on Victor Reinz and Advance Auto Parts. I ordered a set of Nitroseal gaskets #95197SG from Parts America / Advance Auto Parts on line. Waited over a week for UPS to ship. I opened the box and the idiots substituted FelPro 1262! I called customer service and they said their supplier no longer carries Victor Reinz gaskets! They couldn't figure this out when they placed the order?
So I email Clevite and tell them it is almost impossible to find a distributor who sells Victor Reinz gaskets. They respond "try CarQuest". When I first tried a CarQuest in NJ the sales person said they never herd of Victor Reinz gaskets. The next closest one is in DE 11 miles away, but I will have my gaskets in a couple of days. He just ordered a set for a guy with a Mustang. |
