where to buy door hinges?
I'd like to replace my hoop-style door hinges with something that looks a little nicers. Mine are functional, but not very pretty. Just some welded up rods. Anyone know where to buy better looking hinges? Pics of what you have would also be appreciated.

I'm not sure? Does it make a difference? I've looked at the hinge covers that Cobra Restorers sells & it doesn't look like they'd work with the hinge set up I have now.

Send me or post a picture of your current hinges and we'll see if we can help you out.

Unfortunately, the car is at the painters for a couple of more weeks so I can't take any pics right now. The hinges I have now are very similar to the ones I saw on the Superformance website except the "arched or hoop" piece is not solid like the SPF. Mine are two individual 1/2" thick welded bars formed into a hoop. I don't know if that makes any sense - I'll have to revisit this once I'm able to post some pics. Any help in the meantime is appreciated.

I think SPFs have a cover like the originals have and that's what you're seeing.
It's pretty simple to lay up a 'glass cover or a bend up a sheet metal piece and cover it with vinyl.
