How do I respond to a "For Sale" advertisement

I see where I can click on "Contact Seller" and send the seller an email, but how do I respond so that my response is below the ad as I see so many do? I may have my page set up incorrectly as I don't see any way to do this. Then again, it's probably one of those things where it's right in front of my nose and I just don't see it. Getting old sucks.......

Seems to be a glitch in the system. See the following link:

I clicked on the "For Sale" tab on the blue bar at the top of the page, then clicked on the first item for sale in the first category. Clicked on the underlined portion of the ad, saw the originator's paragraph(s), with a "Reply To" box at the bottom, then replied.

Hope this helps.

I don't get the "reply to" box. I wonder what's wrong - my end of things or the software on the forum. I'm guessing it's on my end because someone else responded to the ad. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you see the underlined sentence with the description?

Jockey-
I bet your wife has disabled the "reply" function for anything in the For Sale Forum.

You don't have to be so bashful, just tell me you're interested!

What I want to buy is only $45 - she's a bit too late to save the REAL money!

Yes, the underlined title line in the description is there, and I click on it and it works, but I don't see any reply function in what comes up.

I get the box at the bottom. Must be your browser settings or something.

Sharroll Celby 06-04-2008 09:39 PM

I wish I could be of more help. Can you check your settings, like SloJo mentioned?

Some people are asking how to post an item for sale. I looked at my For Sale page and I don't have the "For Sale" tab on the blue bar at the top. It just has on the right hand side, Home, Search, Member List, and Profile. The For Sale tab has been missing ever since we went to the new servers in mine but CW posted a link that will get you into the sale area. So it seems some people are getting it and others aren't.

Ron :)
