The most outlandish of these devices was the Rocket Drag Axle, which connected mechanically to a car’s differential and, when ignited, surpassed the engine’s motive force by upwards of a thousand horsepower and launched the vehicle forward at a truly mind-numbing rate of acceleration.

Allan, if you can find a Jet Rocket Axle for 7034, I'll put it on for you AND videotape you test driving it for the first time. **)

I just keep having to check this car out. It just is awesome

I saw this car when it was featured at Carlisle Pa at the ALL FORD SHOW either last year or the year before. Truly a stunning, menacing sight that looked like it could break your arm just by being close to it!

The 2008 FORD SHOW is happening Thur thru this Sunday. I'm going up tomorrow.

If you do a little looking, there is alot out there about the company, They made rockets for everything. Here's a pic of ago cart spanking a top-fueler. There was also a (relatively speaking) lightly modified VW with one of these axles that spanked T.V. Tommy Ivoe's 4 engined drag car.

Have any of you guys see Bill Parham's Falcon, in his showroom at Southern Automotive. The plate says "Nightmare on any street". He fired it for me, and it gave me goosebumps.
