You mean like the originals with a torsion spring to allow the plate to fold down at speed?

I'm going to put one on mine but it will probably need rechroming after welding the two little tabs on the bumper.

I hade one on my miata that folded at speed (about 20 mph I think) and would unfold when stopped. I bought it from one of the miata speed shops just can't remember which. Sorry. :(

Yeah, I was looking for the one that folds up at speed. Like those old school ones.

Just curious. Are you looking to add the front plate to pass a state inspection or is it to be in compliance with state laws? California law requires a front plate, but few Cobras and hot rod guys run them. If you get pulled over in your Cobra, more than likely it's not going to be becuase you don't have a front plate.

To pass local inspections I've seen insulated wire loop hangers used on the top of the hoop. They seem to fall off after inspection somehow?? Finishline has a bracket that goes under the front directional for the quick jack equipped cars. http://www.finishlineaccessories.com...roducts_id=178
